MARYSE REVEALS PRE-CANCER DIAGNOSIS

WWE's Maryse Mizanin, wife of The Miz, took to social media to reveal a pre-cancer diagnosis that will require surgery.

 The former Divas champion shared on Instagram that a biopsy on tissue taken from her uterus and ovaries showed borderline tumors. Maryse is scheduled for a complete hysterectomy in four weeks, with abdominal lymph node preparation for staging. Describing the tumors as serious and borderline precancerous, she emphasized their rare and aggressive nature, highlighting their potential severity if left unchecked.

 Remaining optimistic, Maryse expressed determination to overcome her diagnosis, declaring, “There is only one option, and that is to win this battle. As a mother of two young daughters, I have to.” In her post, Maryse detailed the journey that led to her diagnosis, recounting severe abdominal issues, bloating, and unsuccessful rounds of antibiotics. Despite chronic symptoms and previous dismissals from other doctors attributing the issue to hormones or allergies, consultation with Dr. Thais Aliabadi put her on the right path to treatment.

 Maryse directed her message to women facing similar situations not to accept suffering in silence, emphasizing the importance of self-advocacy and persistence in seeking appropriate medical help.
