WWE PREPARES BIG PLANS FOR GIULIA

Giulia has barely arrived at WWE and is already making history. After a remarkable stint in NXT, where she won the developmental brand's women's title, the Japanese fighter quickly rose to the main roster and is now beginning to make a name for herself on SmackDown. At Night of Champions 2025, Giulia defeated Zelina Vega and became the new United States Women's Champion. The victory consolidated what had already been said behind the scenes: WWE is preparing a significant push for the Japanese star, treating her as one of the future central figures of the blue brand's women's division. Sources indicate that the United States title is just the beginning of a more ambitious plan. The company believes that Giulia has all the necessary qualities to become a full-time main eventer: a striking presence, refined technique and international appeal. AEW CREATE TWO NEW BELTS AND UNIFY TITLES SOON

All Elite Wrestling appears to be preparing significant changes to its title division, with two important moves that should directly impact the company's structure in the coming months.

The first of these involves the unification of two existing belts: the AEW International Championship and the AEW Continental Championship. The company plans to hold a decisive match between the current champions, Kenny Omega and Kazuchika Okada, in a “Winner Takes All” match, where the winner will walk away with a new unified title. This match is being planned for the All In event, scheduled for July 12. The decision to unify these titles is part of AEW's strategy to reduce the number of active championships and further value those that remain on the scene. This approach follows the same path recently adopted with the dissolution of the FTW Championship.

In addition, there are reports that AEW is also developing two new belts that will be linked to the traditional Owen Hart Cup. The proposal is that the winners of the men's and women's tournaments will receive personalized belts in black and pink, in honor of Owen Hart. These titles will be presented during the Double or Nothing pay-per-view, scheduled for May 29. However, it is still unclear whether these belts will be used continuously in weekly programming or if they will function only as symbolic trophies linked to the annual tournament.

With these changes, AEW shows that it is willing to reformulate its presentation of titles to keep its product relevant and competitive. The unification of belts promises to increase the prestige of the new division, while the possible Owen Hart Cup titles can reinforce the tradition and respect for the legacy that the company seeks to preserve.

Now we just have to wait for the company's official decisions and the developments of these plans. Surely, the upcoming events will bring news that will shake up the professional wrestling scene.
