WWE OFFICIALLY ENDS THE DAMAGE CTRL STABLE
WWE has put an end to one of the most notable female stables in recent years. Damage CTRL, originally formed by Bayley, Dakota Kai, Asuka, Kairi Sane and IYO SKY, has officially come to an end, after a series of changes and events that shook the group's structure.
Since its debut at SummerSlam 2022, Damage CTRL has been a major highlight in the women's division. The group quickly consolidated itself with titles, important rivalries and memorable moments. Over time, new members such as Kairi Sane and Asuka joined the faction, bringing even more strength and prestige.
However, Bayley's departure in early 2024 began the process of dismantling the stable. Then came the injuries of Kairi Sane and Asuka, while Dakota Kai also began to make sporadic appearances. In this scenario, only IYO SKY remained prominent, even winning the WWE Women's Championship and following a solo trajectory in the weekly programming.
According to information from journalist Sean Ross Sapp, from Fightful, WWE has made the decision to officially end Damage CTRL's activities. Without any major announcements or farewells, the members stopped performing together, and each is currently pursuing their careers independently.
In addition, Dakota Kai's dismissal on May 2, 2025, was the final nail in the coffin for the faction. Kairi Sane and Asuka recently returned to the ring, but without any mention of the former group.
Although the group is officially over, inside sources claim that WWE is not ruling out the possibility of a future reunion, depending on the circumstances and new storylines created by the creative team. For now, Damage CTRL will go down in history as one of the most influential female stables of the modern era.
