Veteran R-Truth, one of the most charismatic names in WWE, announced this Saturday, June 1, 2025, his official departure from the company after 17 years of service. The confirmation came through a post on social media, where the fighter expressed gratitude to the company and fans.

R-Truth’s departure comes shortly after his last in-ring appearance on May 28, when he was defeated by JC Mateo on SmackDown. Prior to that, on May 24, he faced his “childhood hero,” John Cena, at Saturday Night’s Main Event in Tampa, Florida.
Known for his irreverent humor and talent on the mic, R-Truth, whose real name is Ronnie Killings, has had a career marked by memorable moments. Among his achievements are the United States Championship, the WWE Tag Team Championship and a record 53 reigns with the 24/7 title.
In addition to his comedic skills, Truth also demonstrated resilience by overcoming a serious infection in 2022, which nearly resulted in the amputation of his leg. His recovery and return to the ring were celebrated by fans and colleagues alike.
