CARLITO WILL BE RELEASED FROM WWE

The Puerto Rican wrestler announced that his contract with the company expires in two weeks and will not be renewed. He jokingly stated that WWE would be asking for part of his salary back, suggesting that he was "stealing" money from the company due to his recent low usage.

Carlito, whose real name is Carlos Colón Jr., had his first stint with WWE between 2003 and 2010, during which time he held the Intercontinental, United States and tag team titles. After a brief return in 2021, he returned to the company in 2023, participating in the Backlash event in Puerto Rico alongside Bad Bunny. Since then, he has been part of the stable The Judgment Day, appearing regularly on Raw alongside Finn Bálor, Dominik Mysterio, JD McDonagh, Liv Morgan and Raquel Rodriguez.

 Carlito recently won the WWC Puerto Rico Championship at the WWC Summer Madness event, promoted by his father Carlos Colón's company. With his departure from WWE, he becomes a free agent and is open to new opportunities in the world of professional wrestling.
