MISTICO INCREASES TICKETS SALES AT AEW SHOWS

Legendary luchador Mistico was recognized for significantly boosting ticket sales ahead of the recent AEW Dynamite and Rampage taping in Rosenberg, Texas.

The final number of viewers for the taping reached 4,457, according to the WrestleTix Twitter account. Notably, they reported a substantial increase in ticket sales over the previous week. As of its previous update on October 11, only 2,462 tickets had been sold.

Dave Meltzer of Wrestling Observer mentioned that over 2,100 tickets were sold after Mistico's participation was announced. While some of this increase can be attributed to reduced ticket prices, Mistico's AEW debut and the event's location in the Houston area were also significant factors.

Mistico participated in a two-out-of-three round fight against Rocky Romero, which was taped for the October 20 episode of Rampage. AEW had planned a unique presentation for this match.

It's worth noting that AEW co-owner Tony Khan is a longtime admirer of the iconic 40-year-old masked luchador and was on hand to witness his WWE debut as the original Sin Cara.
