WILL UNCLE HOWDY NOT APPEAR IN WWE AGAIN?

The Uncle Howdy character hasn't appeared on WWE TV since February 2023, and the character appeared to be done following Bray Wyatt's shocking death from a heart attack on August 24 at just 36 years old.

A report from Better Wrestling Experience this month stated that within WWE it had been agreed that Uncle Howdy (played by Bray's younger brother Bo Dallas) would take over Firefly Funhouse and the planned Wyatt 6 group in honor of Bray Wyatt's memory.

However, those plans are now cancelled, according to an update from BWE, which tweeted: “As far as I know this has been canceled after some promising conversations.”

What this means for Bo Dallas in WWE is unclear, but Dave Meltzer has speculated in recent weeks on Wrestling Observer Radio that the former NXT Champion may be ending his WWE run once again.

“I think he’s wrapping up. The only reason he was being used was as a favor to Bray Wyatt. It's possible they will use it, but I don't expect it to come back,” Meltzer said.

Bo Dallas had several stints with WWE, the first of which was from 2008 until 2021. He returned in December 2022 as Uncle Howdy.
