WWE broadcast another edition of NXT on the CW Network this Tuesday, from the Performance Center in Orlando, Florida, leading up to the Great American Bash on July 12. WWE HAS DISCARDED A RETURN TO DIY IN THE PAST

During last Monday's Raw, Johnny Gargano made his big return to attack Imperium and reunite with Tommaso Ciampa.

After Gunther successfully defended the WWE Intercontinental Championship against Tommaso Ciampa, the defeated man was attacked by the other members of Imperium. This attack led Johnny Gargano to make his return to WWE programming, in order to save his friend and thus reunite DIY.

It has also been reported that this return of "Johnny Wrestling" was a last minute decision by WWE. Now, as reported by Fightful's Sean Ross Sapp, WWE had plans for a DIY reunion this past summer, which ended up not happening.

On Raw, there were some teases of this possible reunion, but this storyline ended up being canceled by WWE.
