KURT ANGLE TALKS ABOUT JOHN CENA IN TNA

Kurt Angle talks about what it would have been like if John Cena had gone to TNA/IMPACT Wrestling.

Kurt Angle changed the pro-wrestling landscape when he signed with TNA in 2006. Angle was one of WWE's top stars and considered by many to be the best wrestler in the world at the time. Angle had an impact on TNA's business, but what if John Cena joined him in the company?

"John Cena, I believe, would have made as much of an impact as I did in TNA. If the two of us had made it there, it would have changed the landscape of pro-wrestling. I really believe that. I honestly believe John Cena coming to TNA probably would have changed everything. He was such a big name that he would have a huge impact, immediately, like I did. I don't know if he would have more impact, maybe yes, maybe not. John Cena is truly talented and what he has done in WWE is second to none. Having him come to TNA in the first place, if WWE released him or if Cena's contract expired, WWE wouldn't have the right to say, 'You're not allowed to do this. If Cena wanted to go to TNA, he would have gone to TNA. The question is, would John Cena do this? John would have changed the game.” said Angle when asked about the hypothetical question on The Kurt Angle Show, Cena hasn't wrestled for another company since he signed with WWE in 2000.
