ROMAN REIGNS COMPLETES 3 YEARS AS UNDISPUTED WWE WORLD CHAMPION

Today, August 30, 2023, Roman Reigns completes three years of ownership of the WWE Universal Championship. The “Tribal Chief” captured the title at WWE Payback 2020, defeating Braun Strowman and “The Fiend” Bray Wyatt in a Triple Threat Match.

The title has already been defended by Reigns 29 times on television. This number also includes his reign as Undisputed WWE Universal Champion, which began in 2022, after defeating Brock Lesnar, at WrestleMania 38, in a Winner Take All Match. Reigns remains the holder of the longest reign with the WWE Universal Championship, having 1090 days as champion.

As a curiosity, for example, Brock Lesnar, who is in second place on the list, has 503 days as champion, which is less than half of the mark of The Bloodline leader. Reigns' last title defense came in August at WWE SummerSlam, when he defeated Jey Uso.
