REY AND DOMINIK MYSTERIO FACE AGAINST FOR THE AMERICAN TITLES

As we watched on the last show of SmackDown, the former champion of the United States Austin Theory had a meeting with Santos Escobar, who beat his partner Rey Mysterio for the 1st Contender, however, earlier before the fight Escobar was attacked by Theory in the backstage of the show that injured him in the leg having to be replaced by Rey Mysterio who takes his place after the announcement of Adam Pearce.

 In the match, Rey Mysterio beat Austin Theory with ease becoming the new champion of the united states to the joy of the public, however, Rey Mysterio as champion an old rivalry ended with his son Dominik at WrestleMania 39 can ignite and resurface again, that's because Dominik is the current NXT North American champion who recently defended his belt against Dragon Lee who had the support of Rey Mysterio on the outside.

After the latest events, strong rumors may indicate a possible fight between father and son and the winner will take both belts or the unification of the titles of the United States and North America, which may also occur.
