NFL INFLUENCE DATE OF WWE DRAFT

Last Friday night on SmackDown, WWE officially announced the dates for the 2023 Draft Nights. This event, taking place on April 28 on SmackDown and May 1 on RAW, will reward WWE Superstars with a brand in the which they will remain during the next season.

 Sean Ross Sapp, a well-known Fightful journalist, recently spoke about the 2023 Draft and its completion dates, and apparently WWE would have chosen those two days with the NFL in mind. These were his words:

 "Those we spoke to told us that WWE scheduling their Draft on the same dates as the NFL Draft was not 'an accident' by any means."

It is worth mentioning that the NFL Draft will take place on April 27, and, just like in WWE, it is one of the most important days of the year and will have enormous relevance in view of the new season. In this way, the company would seek to rely on the repercussion of the draw of the American football league to gain repercussions.

 Regarding the bases of this year's WWE Draft, the company has not yet disclosed how the format will work, however, Triple H guaranteed that it would be a very different event than usual.
