NXT WILL BECOME MORE UNPREDICTABLE

Nick Khan, the CEO of WWE, is behind NXT's current strategy, which includes top stars working with younger talent in NXT to boost ratings. The most recent example is WWE Women's Champion Rhea Ripley, who appeared on this week's show for backstage segments. Seth Rollins defended his WWE World Heavyweight Title against Bron Breakker last week.

These stars will work alongside AJ Styles, Johnny Gargano, Natalya, The Miz, Dolph Ziggler, Baron Corbin, Dana Brooke and other top NXT stars. According to Dave Meltzer in the latest issue of the Wrestling Observer Newsletter, the plan is to have more main roster stars perform in NXT.

Meltzer stated: "The idea is to make NXT more unpredictable with the idea that it can show up and also use talent that they're not doing anything with on the main roster to regularly appear on NXT." The goal is for NXT to be considered a true third brand, a sentiment Khan has publicly expressed.
