ROAD DOGG TALKS ABOUT THE CURRENT NXT

Road Dogg is the current Senior Vice President of Live Events for WWE and someone who works closely with Triple H and the rest of the company's top brass.

On his podcast, Road Dogg spoke of NXT's management issues and what could be done to improve the development brand.

" I think NXT is still going through growing pains today. I wouldn't say pain, because I think that's the intention. In the "Black & Yellow" era, NXT appealed to the most hardcore fans, almost like Progress or Evolve, but with a huge budget. There really was a target audience for this. It was a third brand for a while.

Now they are thinking that we need to go back to fighter development. They came back to it very strongly. Now I think they are trying to find a balance. They went too far in both directions.

How can we make the best of both worlds, continuing to develop young talent and also having a third brand that can sell merchandise and also have good audiences?"
