BACKLASH WILL BE HELD IN PUERTO RICO

For the first time since 2005, WWE will bring a major event to Puerto Rico, the premium live event date on its calendar, scheduling the annual Backlash event to take place on Saturday, May 6th in San Juan, Puerto Rico. It will be the first premium/pay-per-view event held in the country since New Year’s Revolution, organized by the company in 2005.

 Famous star Bad Bunny will host the event. Born in Vega Baja, Puerto Rico, which is about an hour from San Juan, Bunny's real name is Benito Antonio Martinez Ocasio. He last participated in a WWE event at the 2022 Royal Rumble, where he was one of the final five in the match.
