SANADA WINS THE NEW JAPAN CUP 2023

This Tuesday saw the 2023 New Japan Cup final between SANADA and David Finlay, who were looking to win the tournament for the first time in their career.

These two fighters surprised the tournament, with David Finlay becoming the leader of Bullet Club after attacking Jay White, and SANADA leaving Los Ingobernables de Japon to join Just Five Guys after defeating Tetsuya Naito.

As for the final, the fight lasted about 20 minutes, and the Japanese fighter won after hitting his Modified DDT. After the match ended, SANADA and IWGP World Heavyweight Champion Kazuchika Okada had a small face-to-face in the ring, and it was announced that the two will face each other at Sakura Genesis on April 8th.
