FIGHTERS WHO COULD RETURN TO NXT (TOP 5)

NXT has gone from being the best show in wrestling at its best to something that's hard to praise, and that's because of the drastic change that has taken place in the last year.

You can see that Shawn Michaels is making an effort to improve the quality of the program, and you can see that there are fighters worth paying attention and highlighting, like the recent case of Grayson Waller, who will have a fight against Johnny Gargano.

This constant sporadic presence of main roster fighters in NXT can be a tactic that helps to elevate less experienced fighters to prepare them when they go to Raw or SmackDown.

In other cases, there are those who return to the developmental brand for longer periods to restart their journey in WWE and one day return to the main roster stronger, like Apollo Crews and Jinder Mahal, and it is those cases that I want to talk about here.

Which other fighters should also make this change? And would it be very beneficial for them? The five on this list are, in my opinion, those who would make the best additions to the NXT roster.

BRONSON REED
Bronson Reed is one of those cases that was unfairly fired from WWE after the drastic change of NXT, even at a stage when it was starting to be highlighted in the programming, especially after winning the North American Championship.

However, Vince McMahon didn't see much for a promising fighter and decided to fire him, which left the fans very disappointed with this situation, and it was a moment that proved once again that the black & gold brand was in fact dead.

After wrestling for about a year in NJPW, Triple H decided to bring him back after taking over leadership of the creative team, which was a wise decision.

It is unfair to assume that Bronson Reed is not integrating well into the main roster, because he has barely started to show his worth on Raw, but I think that if he returned to NXT, he would be one of its biggest stars to the point of finally dethroning Bron Breakker and be the new NXT Champion.

A year on the developmental brand would make him an even bigger star when he finally got promoted again, and he would certainly be more prominent.

HIT ROW
Of all the signings and returns that Triple H wanted to accomplish to build a WWE in his image, it's safe to assume that Hit Row are perhaps the ones that have disappointed the most.

The problem is that The Game believed that even though it wasn't the entire group, they could succeed on SmackDown, but the truth is that Swerve Strickland has really been missed, and since he is linked to AEW, it is very unlikely that he will reunite- up with your colleagues.

It's safe to say that the group has been failing on the main roster, and there's not much they can do for them at this point, and the best thing would be to go back to NXT where it all began.

However, their path there would be much like Apollo Crews, and they would be there more to put over younger talent with more potential. At this point, it's really best for them.

MUSTAFA ALI
Mustafa Ali has to be the unluckiest wrestler in WWE history, as if it weren't for an eye injury, he would be remembered today as a former WWE Champion instead of Kofi Kingston.

Since then, he has never managed to regain that popularity, and at one point he was so frustrated with his position that he wanted to leave the company, but they never accepted his request, and even now with Triple H managing Raw and SmackDown, it seems that little or nothing has changed.

One wonders if it's worth continuing to insist on him or it's better to let him go so he can fight elsewhere, maybe AEW, which could be good for both parties.

Or else, he could be responsible for saving NXT, and there he could be taken more seriously and rebuild his career from scratch. He would easily become one of the biggest stars of the developmental brand, and he would have a big push like Finn Bálor had. Just don't do to him what they did to Apollo Crews.

CHAD GABLE
Chad Gable has to be one of the most talented wrestlers WWE has right now, and he's been completely wasted for years, especially now that he's teaming up with Otis. Her whole character is just annoying, and not in a good wrestling way.

Anyone who saw him fight in NXT alongside Jason Jordan when they formed American Alpha knows perfectly well that he is not only spectacular in the ring, but also charismatic. Reminds me of Kurt Angle.

However, his time on the main roster has been an anecdote and an insult to the talent that he is, and now that a split from Alpha Academy is in sight, he can start over again.

We've already seen that Triple H has given him opportunities to compete on Raw because he knows the potential is there, but is there any direction for him on the solo main roster? Or would a change from NXT not be ill-considered?

It's obvious that if Chad Gable returned to NXT, he would automatically be one of their best fighters, and I want to believe that Shawn Michaels would not waste him, and a reign with NXT Championship would be obvious. Both parties would benefiting so much from this change and constantly seeing main events of major events with the former NXT Tag Team Champion defending the title would sell out tickets.

JOHNNY GARGANO
Gargano has had a long and successful career in NXT, and he has proven time and time again that he can deliver in the ring and on the mic. Fans know what to expect from him, and they love him for it. Returning to NXT would give Gargano the opportunity to continue his story within the brand, and to rise again as one of the top stars.

Johnny Gargano is one of the best wrestlers in the world, and NXT is known for its great wrestling matches. There, he would have the opportunity to perform in incredible matches and give the public what they want: high quality wrestling.

One of NXT's main roles is to help develop and launch new talent. As an NXT veteran, Gargano would be a leading voice on the brand and could help guide young talent to success.

With a return to NXT, Gargano would have the opportunity to forge new histories and rivalries with a new generation of wrestlers. He could establish himself as one of the brand's main antagonists or protagonists, depending on how he's presented.

In short, Johnny Gargano's return to NXT makes perfect sense. He already has an established history on the brand, is an excellent fighter and could help elevate young talent. In addition, he would have the opportunity to create new stories and rivalries, becoming one of the main stars of the brand again.
