JOSH ALEXANDER IS NO LONGER THE IMPACT WORLD CHAMPION

IMPACT Wrestling has just announced on its official website that the former IMPACT World Champion, Josh Alexander, has suffered an injury to his triceps, and will be out of action for an indefinite period, consequently losing his title.

Steve Maclin will replace Alexander at tonight's Sacrifice in Windsor, joining Frankie Kazarian and Rich Swann to take on Time Machine (Alex Shelley, Chris Sabin and KUSHIDA).

Alexander is also expected to be replaced at IMPACT/NJPW Multiverse United: Only The Strong Survive, on the weekend of WrestleMania 39, where he would face KUSHIDA.

The new IMPACT World Champion will be crowned at Rebellion on April 16 with a match between KUSHIDA and Steve Maclin.
