MERCEDES MONE AND WWE DON'T REACH AGREEMENT

As previously reported by us, Mercedes Mone and WWE were having conversations about the future of the superstar, there was speculation that she would return at Royal Rumble, WWE's next pay-per-view which will be January 27, 2024, however, although Although she has shared several insinuations on her social media in recent days, don't expect to see Mercedes Mone in a WWE ring anytime soon. There have been several rumors about her next steps in the world of professional wrestling, with WWE seeming to be the most likely place for her to join. However, Fightful Select reported that negotiations between the two parties have come to an end.

WWE sources had previously revealed to Fightful Select that talks to bring her back were in fact taking place, but as of this weekend those discussions are no longer ongoing, and it was those on the WWE side who walked away from those talks, and not Mone.

Fightful Select also stated that another WWE source expects Mercedes Mone to appear somewhere else "imminently," though it's unknown if that means NJPW, AEW, TNA or some other different place. Even though plans with AEW appear to have been scrapped, the report goes on to say that all possible options for Mone are "back on the table." In any case, Mone's move to WWE seems to be really ruled out.
