WWE SETS RECORD IN LIVE EVENT AT MSG

After a short break before Christmas, WWE returned to the road this Tuesday, with a live event at Madison Square Garden, in New York.

The event featured CM Punk's return to the company's rings, a tribute from Seth Rollins to Brodie Lee and Bray Wyatt, Cody Rhodes' victory over Shinsuke Nakamura in a Bull Rope Match, and much more. According to Fightful's Sean Ross Sapp, this was also a live event that broke a major WWE record. 

This live event at Madison Square Garden broke the record for the highest grossing event in the history of a non-televised WWE event. This is another record to close a year in which the company broke several records, which shows the success it had in 2023.
